Walshaw Res. vs Prestwich Heys Res.

Walshaw's second team team look to put the past 3 weeks results behind them and add to the great start they had to the season when they welcome Prestwich Heys reserves to Sycamore Rd this Saturday.

Not only is this the first home game at the club and a local derby, Walshaw also beat Prestwich in a 3-2 Kenyon cup game in the pre-season so with both teams battling for local pride and also position in the table this proves to be a mouth-watering encounter.

Walshaw welcome back some additions to the squad who had cricket commitments earlier in the season and these players, along with the strong foundation we already have look to take 3 points and progress to next week against Springhead.
